4 Things I Love About My Jordan Essentials Business
I’ve tried other direct-sales businesses in the past.
So when I decided to start another business, I wasn’t just looking for any side hustle. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted—and what I didn’t want.
I wanted something I could be genuinely excited about. Something that could fit into my life. Something that gave me the tools to actually get started instead of leaving me wondering, “Okay…now what?”
And most importantly, I wanted to believe in what I was sharing with other people.
That’s what made Jordan Essentials different for me.
If you’re thinking about starting a side hustle, here are four things I love about building my business with Jordan Essentials—and some of the things I’d encourage you to look for when you’re choosing a business of your own.

1. The Starter Kit Helps You Hit the Ground Running
This was important to me.
Starting a business can feel exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when you’re staring at a blank page wondering what you’re supposed to do first.
One thing I appreciate about Jordan Essentials is that there are trainings and resources to help you learn as you go.
You don’t have to come in already knowing how to build a direct-sales business.
You can learn about the products, learn how to share them, learn how to connect with customers, and learn how to build your business along the way.
And then there are the Jordie Jumpstart rewards during your first 90 days.
I love that there’s encouragement and something to work toward when you’re brand new. Those first few months can be when you’re trying to figure out your routine, meet new customers, learn the products, and find your rhythm.
Having training, resources, and incentives built into that beginning gives you a little more direction.
And I think this is something worth asking about when you’re considering any side hustle:
Are you being given tools to help you succeed, or are you simply being handed a product and told to go sell it?
For me, having support and a place to start makes a big difference.

2. You’re Not Left to Figure It Out Alone
This was important to me.
Starting a business can feel exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when you’re staring at a blank page wondering what you’re supposed to do first.

3. There’s Always Something New to Share
One thing I love about building a business around products is that I don’t feel like I’m constantly having to come up with something to talk about.
There’s always something happening.
Our Weekly WOW gives me something new and exciting to share each week. There are seasonal products, promotions, and new products that give me different ways to introduce customers to things they may not have tried before.
And that’s helpful when you’re building a business through social media and relationships.
You’re not always saying, “Hey, want to buy something?”
You have something new to talk about.
You can share a product you love. You can educate someone about an ingredient. You can highlight a seasonal product. You can share the Weekly WOW. You can talk about skincare, body care, magnesium, or something you’ve personally been enjoying.
It gives you opportunities to keep showing up and providing value.
And then there’s the JJ Box.
Think of it a little like Ipsy, but for Jordan Essentials. Each month, subscribers get a box of products delivered right to their door, and you never quite know what you’ll find inside.
It could include best sellers, new products, exclusive items, or even retired favorites making a comeback.
I love this because it gives customers something fun to look forward to every month while also creating an opportunity for repeat business.
Instead of a customer making one purchase and disappearing until they need something again, the JJ Box gives you another way to build an ongoing relationship with them.
For someone considering a side hustle, I think that’s an important question to ask:
What will give you a reason to keep showing up—and what will give your customers a reason to come back?
For me, having something fresh to share while also having options for repeat customers makes the business much more sustainable.
4. I Believe in What I’m Sharing
And honestly, this is probably the biggest one for me.
I don’t want to build a business around something I don’t care about.
I’m passionate about skincare, cleaner personal-care products, and helping women find products they feel good about using.
I love learning about ingredients. I love trying products and figuring out what works for my skin. And I love being able to share products with other women who are looking for options that align with what matters to them.
But it’s more than the products themselves.
I also appreciate the values behind Jordan Essentials and the things the company stands for.
It’s a Christian, woman-owned company, and the products are made in the USA. The company has built its brand around thoughtfully formulated personal-care products and ingredient standards that matter to me.
Those things matter when I’m deciding what company I want to represent.
Because when I recommend something to a friend, a customer, or another woman looking for a different option, I want to feel good about what I’m putting in her hands.
And when I’m building a business, I want to feel good about the company I’m representing.
That’s what makes this more than just a side hustle for me.
I genuinely love what I get to share.
If You’re Thinking About Starting a Side Hustle…
I’m not going to tell you that direct sales is for everyone.
But if you’re considering starting a side hustle, I would encourage you to look beyond the income opportunity.
Ask yourself:
Do I believe in the products?
Will I have the tools and support to actually get started?
Is there a reason for customers to keep coming back?
Do I believe in the company and what it stands for?
Those were important questions for me.
I’ve tried other businesses in the past, so I came into this one with a different perspective. I knew what I wanted, what mattered to me, and what I hoped to find.
And I’m really grateful I found those things with Jordan Essentials.
That’s why I chose Jordan Essentials.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a side hustle and want to know what getting started actually looks like, I’d be happy to share more about my experience.
